Spain, for a year. From Barcelona Ira went to San Francisco to study illustration
at California College of the Arts under Dugald Stermer, Randy Chavez, Robert
Hunt, Barron Storey, Franklin Williams, Raymond Saunders and Mark Eanes.
After getting his B.A. in 2005, Ira headed off to the young city of Berlin. Ira took
some time to study German, fall in love, and has since frequented the city on a
usual basis while at the same keeping things going in the states. Ira recently
completed one year of his citizenstand project and is currently planning a
Balloon Project Tour for the summer of 2008. Ira's unusual vision has seen
galleries in San Francisco, Barcelona, Belfast, Berlin, and been featured on
numerous websites around the globe.
